OK. Well, I have kind of heard that chicanos in Floriday generally vote republican, but when the state of Florida is so generally republican with Chicanos, I feel I need to say something. Do you remember how you were treated when you, or your parents or your grandparents were first in the US? Do you remember the looks, the treatment by cops, that made you feel like dirt? How can you stand by as our brothers and sisters of African descent are subjected to unconstitutional voter blocking, harrassment by state troopers at the polls and the elderly being threatened? See the NY Times opinion for August 23rd. Come on, we CAN swing this election. Don't you know that the republicans would like nothing better than to see us all in jail, or worse?

What the holy hell are you smoking?!  What voter blocking are you referring to?  How are the elderly being threatened?  Harrassment by state troopers at the polls?  What a bunch of alarmist, propaganda!

So a person just could not walk around the road block? If this was true and the investigation showed that it was not (even with members of the Rainbow coalition was invalved) then reporters would have been all over this like white on rice. Not one person in the area had a camera? I grew up in a dirt poor family and we still had a cheap camera.

I think most of the CUBANS in Florida has changed sides, because of the Democrat's platform of lifting sactions on Castro. Remember a large part of the Cuban population in Florida fled for thier lives from Castro. The Gonzalis case didn't help much either.
